I see
Saunders keep focus on kindness by his story on the air plane by telling the
little boy that everything is going to be OK. And also holding on to an old
ladies hand next to him. The people who are expressing this kindness are the
little boy and the old lady. The effects on Saunders he gets scared when the
little boy ask are we going to die and Saunders tries to tell him that we are going to be fine.
There are so
many acts of kindness there is one where you can help and old lady across the
road. Another act of kindness is hand out help coupons Make your own coupons
that can be redeemed for free help and then hand them out to your family and
friends! Make a coupon for free dish-washing, vacuuming the house, a homemade
dinner, free pet-sitting, or babysitting, etc. Tailor them to fit your friends'
needs! If your best friend hates to do laundry, give him or her a coupon for
one free load of laundry. Pick it up, take it to the laundromat, fold it and
bring it back.
Eat Lunch
with Someone New at your school, you may have a specific group of friends who
you enjoy hanging out with on a daily basis. The group you eat lunch with, hang
out with between classes or even spend time with after school or on the
weekends. Do you have a classmate who doesn’t seem to have many friends or
often eats lunch alone? Maybe he or she is new or is shy and not very good at
meeting people. Invite him or her to eat lunch with you. Getting to know
someone you don't know is a great way to make a friend!
Host a
Cookie Exchange It’s that time of year again! This year, host a cookie exchange
with a purpose. Get your friends together to bake a whole bunch of different
kinds of holiday cookies, but instead of just bringing your portion home share
with your family, donate them! Bring some holiday cheer to your local hospital.
Or you could charge a "fee" at the door and donate the money your
guests bring to your favorite charity.
If you love to bake, this is your chance to use that skill to help
others!
