response to popes speech

 What stood out to me the most in the speech is part of the national anthem. “The land of the free and home of the brave “, and when he said that it made me think why he say that. Maybe it’s important to him and to the congress. And it made me think a little more about this he Being negative towards congress or was he telling the truth. The second thing that stood out to me was, that the pope said “you are the face of the people, and he is talking about the representatives and how the common good, for this is the chief of all politics.
